Hi, I’m Dominic DeCoff—an Army veteran and proud graduate of Kentucky Horseshoeing School, with a passion for horseshoeing that began in 2015.
I first learned to shoe while serving at Arlington National Cemetery as part of the U.S. Army’s esteemed Caisson Platoon, an experience that shaped both my work ethic and respect for the craft. After completing my military service in 2022, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to this work, graduating from KHS in 2023 and entering the field professionally.
Today, I’m committed to providing skilled, attentive care to every horse I work with. I actively pursue ongoing education and certification, and I enjoy testing my abilities in farrier competitions alongside talented peers. For me, shoeing is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong pursuit of mastery.
